Vincent P. Aquilina, 86, of Ocean Grove, formerly of South Toms River, passed peacefully on December 29 2018 at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Vincent was born in NYC to Paul and Anna (Spizuoco) Aquilina. He honorably served our country in the US Army from 1954-1962.
Vincent retired from Toms River Department of Public Works in 1995 after over 20 years of dedicated employment. He was an avid fisherman and talented woodworker.
Vincent was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Victoria Mason Aquilina and his sister-in-law, Dorothy Mason.
He is survived by his cousin, Charles(Karen) Aquilina of Bayville and their children; Kim, James and Charles. He also leaves a sister-in-law, Mary Mason, RSM of Bradley Beach and brother-in-law, John (Linda) Mason of Eatontown, their daughter; Megan Anderson and husband Brian and their children; Brianna, Madison and Mason, as well as , a nephew, Robert (Beverly) Mason, of Belmar and their children Maxwell and Gabriella.
A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, January 9th from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Braun with a service at 8pm. Interment will be private.
