Nita-Lynn Gibson, 57, of Long Branch, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at home in Marlton, surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Long Branch, Nita-Lynn spent most of her life there. She is predeceased by her beloved mother, Berneta Dupree. She is survived by her loving brother, Harold “Hal” Dupree and his partner, Andrew Lull. A graduate of Shore Regional High School and Thomas Edison College, Nita-Lynn worked in marketing for Fort Monmouth in Eatontown for many years. She was also a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Long Branch. Family and friends may visit Friday, from 11am to 1pm at the Braun Funeral Home, 106 Broad Street, Eatontown, NJ. The Funeral Service will commence at 1:00pm, followed by burial at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport. In lieu of flowers and in tribute to her love for animals, donations may be made in Nita-Lynn’s memory to the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
